– Avoid popping those nasty zits. This may sound like the quick fix, but in reality it is the worst. Popping your zits can cause scarring and damage to your skin. It can also lead to new breakouts.
-Do not touch your face. Keep your hands off of your face at all costs. Your hands are one of the dirtiest parts on your body because you constantly use them in with everyday activity. If you have to, purchase a small hand sanitizer bottle to keep with you at all times.
– Drink more water. Your body is about 60% water. Water is the main source used to flush out the toxins in your body that contribute to acne. Drinking about 10 glasses of water a day is ideal. Make sure to consume it evenly throughout the day.
– Try using medicine. Apply a small amount of Benzoyl Peroxide to the affected areas. This medicine is effective because of its anti bacterial properties. It will help heal and prevent future breakouts of acne.
– Keep your skin clean. This goes along with keeping your hands clean. Whiteheads are formed from too much sebum oil being secreted from the glands in your skin, so washing your face with an oil free product would be best. Make washing your face a habit. Wash it in the morning, afternoon, and night.
If you use this checklist you will be on your way to cure whiteheads faster than you know it.
